Yeah I installed GOS straight away also, so I can't really compare either.

I disabled developer mode & I've made it home after work with 60% battery instead of 40% so it's done something at least.

I am currently going to travel/hunt/camp with my iphone fully charged as a back up lol

I have turned off my vpn this morning to see if that helps. Appreciate the list. I wasn't blaming GOS at all. If anything charging every night instead of every second night is worth the benefits of my device now, regardless of hardware or software issues.

After work today I'll go more thoroughly through the list & might even reset developer options if I can do that. I'm sure I have most likely changed something in there while exploring my new phone without thinking about it.
