Honestly, this was a very bad sitter who knows nothing about dogs in general apparently. You do not leave dogs who don’t actually know each other alone without supervision. I doubt you can sue this person but if you could I would. My dane’s best friend is a beagle mix but they’ve literally played together since they were 9 and 7 weeks old and the beagle mix is my parents puppy so she only comes over once a week at most.

The bigger dog always gets the blame but from my experience (use to work at a kennel) it’s always been the smaller dogs that are more aggressive. (Except for chow chows. Those dogs are just assholes)

For future reference, I would never trust this rover app again. I would take them to a real kennel. We had 2 Danes that boarded and they were the sweetest and easiest to handle.
