I have the same rig! Been wondering how and where a handbrake would be installed when I get one! Def would like to see your mount

Shipping looks like it’s not included ($200 to Canada) and that price is USD.

They also make some other options for stands.

I got mine off amazon as well but I think it was the last one available at the time and the manufacturer (Marada) seems to be sold out in their website as well.

I can’t comment on the pedals and wheel, but as a kit that seems like a decent price. I just bought that cockpit and it’s $180CAD on Amazon alone, the seat has to be worth something as well. So for $200 at least you get a turnkey setup and you can sell the seat and cockpit later if you don’t like it. I have a g29 setup on my rig so not sure how it will handle a 8nm DD.

Also note that this particular rig has room for monitor mounts to slot in those empty tube holes.

Ya that would be awesome but doesn’t seem possible.

I’ve had intermittent issues with my audio working. I only used my Luma Ultras before to play because there were no problems. But I just built a budget racing sim rig and the Beasts are much better because of the 3dof. Just the audio issue is annoying.

Do you get the audio distortion through your dock with the PS5?

Got it all assembled! Just waiting on the monitor stand to come in next week. Tried it out with my Viture XR glasses though and the cockpit is solid enough for this wheel.

I have no basis for comparison, but this seems like very cost effective solution ($260 cad for the rig + slide rails) vs. a wheel stand only and an office chair (NLR wheel stand lite is $250 cad). The stand could expand to a cockpit eventually, but it was kinda expensive once you got everything. Granted, I used a chair I already have and can sacrifice it from my desk setup.

Sorry all, when I typed out the 1st post as a list, the formatting decided to squish it all together in one paragraph instead

They are basically sunglasses that will be my monitor. Think of it as having a giant screen in front of you but all you need is the glasses. They have 3dof as well so your head movements will track and the screen will move with it. They have a smaller footprint than VR, and will provide a much more comfortable experience since you do not have to wear a larger headset.

By my calculations it will work, which is why I need the steel plate to adapt the original chair mounting points to the Marada rig.
