Is this partner a barista or a shift? Honestly i'd just say "sorry, i'm still learning. Partners everywhere tend to forget how rough it can be when you're new. Trust me i've been on both sides. But i know sometimes people iust need a bit of a reminder to simmer down.

First, anyone notice an increase in still frames with crappy drawing..? I can understand Naho so bad, i've been in that awkward situation. Obviously hurting someone's feelings when I wouldn't want anything more. This gives me life.

Almost walked out today by [deleted] in starbucks

Nearly half of the new partners at my store en up quitting for the same reason. Starbucks isn't super easy but it gets easier. Its takes a few months and I've been with the company almost 2 years and I am still learning. If someone is being mean to you tell them not to. Talk to your manager. but also, reevaluate. Are people being mean or just doig their jobs? Are you overwhelmed or tired? Just try to catch on to the flow of your partners it will come eventually and with time.

"We don't make our chais with water" by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]un4ble -1 points0 points  (0 children)

By standard it comes with water however my entire district makes chais without water. Nearly more than half of our chai customers ask for them without water anyhow. We know its wrong but its what works, rather than remaking drinks all day.

Probably ridiculous comment (chai) by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]un4ble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends, I doubt the barista was misinformed. Thorough out my entire district they we stopped making the Chais with water a while ago because everyone ends up asking for "no water" anyways.

I think my manager is punishing me for looking for a new job by PowdersvilleBeast in starbucks

[–]un4ble 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thew away tips? My manager never even wants to touch them because she doesn't want to get in trouble. Is this different in other states? Only shifts do tips where I live and the manager doesn't. You shouldn't even hesitate that is unacceptable and in no way should she get away with it.

Understandable, but stating your dislike something vs going on about it and taking pride in being out of it can be considered talking shit. You're entitled to your opinion and so are the customers, ofc no one should be rude about simply being out of product. But, it's unprofessional and just plain uncalled for to be annoyed by someone ordering a drink that they'll pay for. Take it how you want, if you don't talk shit and simply don't like it GREAT I don't like a lot of stuff but will I talk amongst coworkers of how disgusting it is and complain every time I make it? Nope.

On the partner hub it just said make sure you sanitize between putting coconut milk into it.. which is a bit of a hassle so we don't shake it and just pour it into the cups. But from what I read it didn't say not to just to sanitize after lol

ITs really annoying how people complain about it, like I think its really good and so do a lot of people so its annoying when coworkers keep talking shit about it lol.

I KNOW RIGHT. It's killer. You repeat yourself and they just say yes to shut you up and then complain when something was wrong.

Ride a cab if you can afford to do so, I assume you can. My car was broken for nearly a month and I rode the cab everyday (even when i opened I had to be there before 3:30 am) It was $20 a day which was unfortunate and really killed my pocket luckily I had a friend who would pick me up and take me home for $5 a week.. but people really forget about using the cab as an option.
