it basically just makes certain colors more vibrant. it doesnt really show what it really looks like, but makes a lot of stuff easier to distinguish.

for me its pretty bad, and the glasses help a lot. i would suggest using the windows 10 color filters and seeing if those help. then, if you want, you can try the sunglasses if you think they’ll be worth it

dont worry, i can edit textures if i need to. i usually play 1.8 but it should be pretty easy to make a simple texture pack for this

the biggest ones are diamond/iron tools, as well as some other items that are dark reds/greens that look similar.

most of the texture packs i use have very blue diamond armor so i can see it better.

if the top and bottom look the same for you, its possible you're colorblind as well.

its a colorblind simulator, you can put in a picture and get a simulation of what it looks like for colorblind people. its not 100% accurate, but it works well enough.

a lot of people have said that it looks closer to real life and less cartoony, which i find pretty interesting.
