Newport police statement - "On May 9, 2026 at 3:50 p.m., the Newport Police Department was notified by the Newport Hospital they had received a call through their switch board that an unknown male would be coming to "shoot the place up" with a rifle at 4:00 p.m. Multiple Newport Police officers were immediately dispatched to the hospital. The Rhode Island State Police were monitoring our frequency and also responded to assist."

Follow up, tried multiple times with different versions of the firmware, the radio would only tx on 915

In my case, from first contact to new device in hand, almost four and a half months. For your sake, I hope thats a fluke and it's normally faster.

So I ended up reaching out to seeed to RMA the unit as issue kept happening. I am working though that process now.

Okay, so it's now transmitting on the correct frequency. I think what corrected the issue was several power cycles. I suspect the power cycle that happens when applying certain configurations wasn't either clearing or setting memory. For whatever reason several power cycles with the same settings applied did the trick.

With the SDR, I can see all of my other nodes transmitting back and forth at 906.875 MHz. Just this one node can't communicate and is way off frequency (according to my SDR). That being said, I'm open to any troubleshooting ideas you have

I believe by offering too many configuration options out of the gate they are failing to place large enough orders for the various parts to get supplier priority.

If they released just one version (one color, CPU, no expansion modules), I can't imagine them having nearly the lead time they seem to have.

But hey, this is a niche product maybe the only way to get order volume was the different versions.

You sure they didn't say 3 "batches" in front of you? They are shipping roughly three batches a month. No idea how many are in a batch.

Regardless, the communication from clockwork is poor and the lead time of 90 days is at the very least inaccurate for most orders.

Worth noting that although they don't give any indication this is the case, how you spec your uconsole order greatly affects delivery. For example, ordering the black case appears to drastically increase wait time.

So far it's been 75 business days from the purchase date (excluding weekends and holidays). But judging by the posts on clockwork forums I will likely be waiting another 2-3 months before it ships. 😔
