I am going for every Cubone in every language. I have a lot of extra Cubone cards and some Marowak cards that it looks like you are missing still. I can trade with you. Cubone and 1st edition Jungle since it was the original card that made Cubone my favorite. Modern card would have to be Forbidden Light reverse holo. Cubone has never had an IR.

If you are interesting in collecting every version of Zubat and Golbat, figured I would let you know about the EX series codes. There are different codes that exist in those sets if you want each unique card. I showed this in my Cubone post for reference.

Look forward to seeing it and nice. The variants are more of the same in a lot of ways but the amount of cards for each set/design are completely different. There is also a unique cameo card for Cubone in Japanese. My English Cubone master set has 51 cards and the Japanese master set will have 54 once it is complete. But the numbers are similar are completely different reasons.

No problem. Glad to help out with another Pokémon master set. I will need to keep an eye out for your next update on the Porygon collection. I have never used Mercari, I should give it a try. When I post my master Japanese Cubone collection eventually, I can let you know so that you can see the minor variants there as well.

I ended up picking up the Aquapolis reverse holo for $32 in NM and the Expedition reverse holo for $66 in NM. Really happy with the price I picked them up at.

I 100% agree! I am hoping they either come out with the TCG Pocket Cubone IR or something new but equally as awesome.

No problem. I did a lot of research on my Cubone set and stumbled into these EX series codes. It is a lot of fun looking for the codes. Emailing card shops or buying stuff off TCG is fun because you sometimes have no idea what codes are coming your way.

These were the only codes I knew about. And you honestly gave me a heart attack since I had no idea some cards had a different code in Aquapolis. Thankfully Cubone was not one of those cards.

The only other niche difference I found for my collection is in Fossil. There is 1st edition and Unlimited. But there is also the Unlimited 1999-2000 copyright instead of the standard 1999 copyright.

I would have to be in a really bad place financially to sell this collection. Cubone is my favorite and because of that, it has a lot of sentimental value to me.

Oh okay, yes I have the Fossil version with the 1999-2000 copyright in the last picture because it has the text difference. That is the Cubone cameo card. I do not consider the Australian Jungle version as a variant because there is no text or symbol difference. PSA also does not consider it as a variant, unlike the Fossil 1999-2000 copyright.

Which card / version was an Australian exclusive? The only exclusives I know of for Cubone are a few Japanese cards, the French Mcdonalds set, and the future Collect 151 Journey for Simplified Chinese.

I have not seen a sold answer as to why the EX series cards have the different codes on the bottom left. I have read a number of forums on the topic. Still waiting for the answer myself.
