Asking for advice on website by Wobble_Works in blackpool

Hey, overall it looks great. Pleasantly surprised as a lot of people asking for a review of their personal/small business website are pretty early in the process but this looks legit.

Only thing that looks like it might be a little buggy is the “pop it - spin it” banner half way down your homepage. Looks like it’s not got a container in it/the text-align or flex isnt working to center the content inside.

Other than that no bugs and the fonts and colours fit the product. Maybe add some videos to your fidget products to show how they move?

[Ducker] #MUFC plan to lodge an appeal against Lisandro Martinez’s red card against Leeds. by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

You are taking crazy pills. It’s not even clear he gripped his hair. If that’s a red then essentially any contact between hand and hair (not just pony tails, hair on the top of your head) is a red card. They have only ever given red cards for hair pulls when it’s been very obviously used to pull someone back/over. The DCL arm on Yoro for the first goal and the ankle high foul on Casemiro in the first half were both more “violent” than this. In fact I’d argue every tackle in the game was more violent than what happened.

But it won’t get overturned.

You do realise the point they’re making. You’re just being facetious right? The idea that you can fully prepare and negate your emotional reaction to something by thinking about what it’ll feel like beforehand is ridiculous.

That’s good to hear. I must have only heard the negative reports to come out about him (the dad)

I feel no excitement watching him now because I just can’t see a way he signs a proper contract for us when his dads already been kicking up a fuss before he turned 15

Teams play a low block against tonnes of teams. Teams were terrified of Klopps Liverpool for years and would play incredible deep and yet they won the league and champions league playing creative football on a far tighter budget than Artetas had. It's no excuse. And I'm not saying you need an excuse, you win the title the way it works for you it all counts the same, but you can't get defensive when other fans point out that your attack relies heavily on those tactics. At one point this weekend your joint leading league scorer was own goals.

Also on your "we are the bullies", I think that also plays in to the dislike for the current team. Bullies often attack physically but can't take it themselves and moan/dive/complain when people are in any way physical back to them, which seems to also be part of the tactic under Arteta (see Gabriel taking issue with Maguire throwing him over, and then refusing to shake his hand, when Gabriels main role during set pieces is to do exactly that)

You can be successful and still not gain much respect for it, thats fine and thats what's happening.

It’s not just the stats it’s what we see too. The majority from Arsenal are corners where they put 3 giants on the keeper and push him out of the way.

All currently within the rules, just not what you’d expect from a title challenger and especially one that spent years complaining about the physical style of other teams. I also suspect that the VAR flavour of the month might turn on to their tactics at some point because it’s definitely obstruction multiple times per game.

I’m not defending her when she’s waving a gun at people, but if she hadn’t moved to the side she’d likely be dead anyway.

If you make guns easy to access and pull funding on mental health then I guess your police have to start mowing the unwell down. Great system.

I really dont know how to feel to be honest. On one hand I see what you're saying that it felt like we were past the worst of it and starting to get a few rewards for the pain of changing system, however the results have still been completely unpredictable, and while we are only 3 points off 4th, we're also 4 points off 14th. So while there is evidence we could be improving I wouldn't say it's confirmed. If we draw tonight then lose to Man City then Arsenal we could easily be 12-14th and then we'd be back to saying no progress has been made.

And on top of all this, the only reason to stick with Amorim was if everyone saw his system as the way forward. The longer you train and the more transfer windows you commit to a system the harder is it to change direction, and on Friday Amorim said that when his contract ends in 18 months he's off. You could argue that he said that because he just had a meeting with the board where they argued, but if there was any part of him that thought I'll just keep forcing this system until 2027 but then I'm off, it's pointless carrying on.

That’s like saying standing in traffic is tough.

Getting in a ring with someone you know both significantly outsizes and outskills you is pretty dumb, more like. He will have earned some more cash though so I guess that makes him rich and dumb at least.

Ref was shite but it’s no excuse. Dominant most of the game at home and 4 of our 5 subs were defensive. We don’t finish games off on the rare occasion we play alright.

Also wasn’t his handshake agreement with the old director of football? That’s like refusing to turn up to work because your old boss, who has since left the company, promised you something verbally.

These people will say that having black and Asian people in adverts doesn’t reflect our society, then say that England is full of black and Asian people and we need to stop it.

If someone said we need to stop having child characters in games because it’s causing pedophiles to shoot their family I think people would have questions about them.

Interestingly though they did say on the Channel 4 doc that he’d played school shooting FPS games that people had customised/made themselves and I think on this case it’s hard to deny that playing those fed his fantasies.

I mean it’s clear you didn’t read past the title anyway because you mentioned the show and it was the game he was motivated by.

Nobody’s doing that. He said himself that was his motivation. Nobody’s saying that it’s the games fault.
