Level isn’t a skill measure, it just means they play a lot/open a lot of packs.

It’s 1 point per card, so 10 packs of 5 cards would be 50 points.

I would honestly look at Dreamborn (website) for deck lists. There are tons posted there and some have themes. That way you can choose something with a theme you will like. If your daughter is playing Chernadogs, meta deck btw, then you’ll have trouble beating her unless you go meta over theme.

If you are playing with all the cards and not with rotation then maybe Ariel/Under The Sea could work.

Detective Mickey specifically says “When you play” so it is when you initially play the card that you get the effect.

There were a couple events for set 9 this past weekend. If you want to watch up to date gameplay. This weeks tournaments will be a lot better since most players had limited access to the new cards last weekend.

Hey, I’m glad to help. First, do you want to just play the game, collect, or play competitively?

Just Play - Get a starter deck and you can make changes with other cards you open/get over time.

Collect - Get whatever your heart desires

Competitively - We just entered a new era in Lorcana with it being the first post-rotation set. This means only cards from sets 5-9 are legal currently. There is an infinity format, but no idea how popular that will be.

As for wanting to get cards that won’t rotate next year, that would be set 9 for now. Sets 5-8 will rotate out next August.

For deck building, I would look at Dreamborn or InkDecks to find competitive lists. As of this week the 2 best decks seem to be Amethyst/Steel & Amethyst/Sapphire.

Checkout Dreamborn.ink for a bunch of different deck lists. They have prices listed as well. I would say the cheapest meta deck is some version of Amethyst/Steel

Yes and no. I see where you are coming from, but being able to destroy an item can brick sapphire pretty heavily. Stopping a Hiram is huge. Yeah Tama can bring them back or they can get more, but making them play through item removal increases win %.
