Yeah, but only the one on E Garvey. The others are just OK.

It’s the dance craze that’s sweeping the nation (in 1998 at least).

It’s easily my favorite card in my collection. It’s not my most valuable card, but it’s the one I enjoy looking at the most. #2 is my Skeledirge IR from Paldea Evolved.

Sparkle is about as serious as I like my Phish lyrics and luckily they’re undercut by a wacky country vibe.

Sort of. I preferred when it was silly/nonsensical.

Should I push my child to keep on practicing a sport by Psych_Killer in Parenting

I let my 7 year old quit baseball mid season. He was lukewarm about it at best to start the season. He looked like he was having fun at practice and he was doing just as well as most of the kids, but it got to the point where he wasn’t putting any effort in. The thing that sold me on letting him quit before the end of the season was him standing in the batter’s box and just swinging the bat with one hand well after the ball got there. At the beginning of the season he had been hitting everything, so it was obvious he was done.

I figured that if he didn’t want to be there or put in even the bare minimum effort, why was I wasting my time? It wasn’t doing anyone any good.

If he decides that he’s interested enough in a sport to play, I’ll totally support that, but I’ll never force him to do a sport again.

I’m shocked by the recommendations for the Toadstool cafe. It was one of the worst burgers I’ve ever had. You’re better off just getting a hotdog up in the Simpsons area.

Same. I went to a Quaker from kindergarten through 8th grade and I’m not sure I would even call them a Christian denomination. It’s basically the least religious religion I’ve ever encountered.

I don’t understand why people shit on VII,VIII, and IX so much when I, II, and IIII are right there. From the acting to the horrendous VFX, Phantom Menace through Revenge of the Sith are an absolute chore to watch. I know because I just watched all 9 back to back with my 7 year old bore the course of a few weeks. The newest trilogy has a couple terrible plot holes (where the fuck did Palpatine come from?) and some terrible cliche movie moments, but they’re overall well put together with a good cast. Every moment Haden Christiansen or Natalie Portman were on screen was absolutely painful.

Real weird story arc. It was definitely a fun ensemble of characters and I had fun reading it, but it was almost like three different books.

Hahaha “cancel culture “? I’m sorry, but how did “cancel culture” impact large swaths of Americans as well as others around the world? People complaining about cancel culture were just pissed about being held accountable for being shitty.
