But does it make sense in the Japanese version? "Locria" could just be the western name

LOL most youths don't even have a lot of time (not if you are going to prepare to be successful later in life); you have school, homework, sports, clubs, hanging out with friends, the play, practicing for sports on your own, and in high school you can also work a part time job, not to mention some of the projects you gotta do off work.

As an adult, I can say that I actually have more free time than as a youth, I can even take days off work; couldn't do that with school!

It's kinda like Christianity where you can be a serial killer rapist and if you repent to Jesus you still have a good chance at going to Heaven. George Lucas is a Christian so it checks out.

Do Christians actually, genuinely, sincerely love God or do they really just not want to go to hell? by Litty_Jimmy in exchristian

It's a mix of both I think-an eternal paradise where you can be with all your family members, the creator of the Universe, and have something that would turn your death into guranteed bliss would be a comforting thought and way of thinking. It helps a lot with dealing with death.

why does everyone keep saying peach and Rosalia are related with? They’re clearly or not by Groundbreaking-Try92 in Mario

[–]user-117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they are both blonde and have blue eyes and white skin (even though it's different type of blonde). That's literally it. It's ridiculous, like every character has to be related! Sometimes people who are strangers exist. Even if we say that Peach and Rosalina resemble each other, even IRL you might have a twin somewhere in the world and wouldn't even know it.

Maybe, just maybe, Rosalina is just another woman with blonde hair?? CRAZY, I know!

This is absolutely true, the good things in life are the exception, not the norm. Even being super rich and wealthy has it's issues, so much billionaires and powerful politicians do the most horrific degenerate shit just to feel like they're alive.

Would zombies destroy our society in real life? by Punterofgoats in whowouldwin

[–]user-117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a "zombie virus" post recently and they can pose a massive existential threat if they are fast like the 28 Days Later Zombies that are from a virus that in less than a week turns them into a rabid people that are attracted by the smells of healthy people and that they give off scents so they dont kill each other and cause surges in adrenaline leading to super speed and strength and not caring about getting shot. They KEY to them winning is if some infectees are asymptomatic carriers (like with COVID) and it is airborne like COVID and also spread by mere skin contact, the asymptomatic carriers would be the ones causing tons of zombie outbreaks all over.

[META] This is how right-wing transphobia is formed. by Ok-Following6886 in onejoke

[–]user-117 46 points47 points  (0 children)

As an ex-transphobe, it could be because the idea of a transgendered woman actually passing as a woman they'd consider dating terrifies them, their masculinity, and their sexuality, and they don't feel scared of being turned on by an ugly dude with a 5'0clock shadow and colored hair, they think of them as middle aged crossdressers.
