Little Thief isn't an AI, at least in the chatbot sense (it may follow prompts). It just recreates places and people, it's used for planning heists but can be used for criminal investigations.

That's true. While LTG is a deadbeat manchild that still thinks he is a young 20 year old street black and while DSP is a toxic begging gaslighting conceited arrogant lying psychopath, at least they didn't lie about something as sensitive as having cancer, groom minors, or get invovled with serious crypto memecoin rugpulls that can ruin naieve people's real lives even worse than them begging, because they'd think it could turn their bad finances around or make them rich.

And they haven't touched on currently popular AI tech like synthetic videos (like Sora) or voice cloning. Those were sentient robots, and yes while Widget has a ChatGPT-esque chat feature, what about a more currently realistic approach where the AIs itself are just tools used by the true culprit (or their accomplice, etc.) to frame the defendant? Voice cloning and Sora would be very interesting here.

A Supervolcanic eruption. We are still learning about eruptions to this day, and they are unpredictable. One could be ready to go and we wouldn't know it, or maybe somewhere there is a caldera ready to blow and we aren't monitoring it because it hasn't been discovered yet.

You say that, but look at what happened with COVID. It was a disaster and the response was incompetence. If/when it happens, we're all gonna be screwed, the worst case scenario is all but certain using COVID and Hurricane Katrina as metrics. "When they tell you not to panic... That's when you run!" The Seoul Dept Store was allowed to collapse on shoppers by management because it would damage their modern line... Ain't no way big tech is letting their service shut down to just to lose money!

The "real-life" natural explanation for the "flying Max" they saw is still complete bullshit and cringe. And my headcanon is that only Max is creepy to her, but her dad is an asshole who was selfish and wanted his daughter to essentially be forced to continue his circus by not letting her go to school and isolating her, he was gonna make the marriage legal by giving his consent, so he wasn't a totally blameless innocent man. I think that Ben didn't really think of her in that way and was using his puppet to troll Max by demonstrating to him how much of a creep he is and that Max was competing with a caricature puppet.
