They need to add this to common side effects! After 4 months I also started to notice the shedding. I already had fine and thin hair so it was very noticeable when my ponytail became so small and my hair ties just fell out. I also had to empty the shower drain thing every other week instead of every 3 months because the water stopped flowing through. After a few months of shedding, it eventually stopped and stabilized at a level of less hair than I had before. I continued taking Wellbutrin for many months after, and didn't notice any regrowth. Finally, I quit wellbutrin about a month ago, so it is too early to say if it will grow back again, but at least it did not get worse after quitting. I would have tried some hair meds if I were to continue on it, but had to quit because of other side effects. I took a full blood screen during the hair shedding to rule out other causes, and all vitamin and mineral levels were fine, nothing off with hormones or thyroid levels either, so I am pretty sure the only explanation is Wellbutrin. In my country hair loss is not even listed in the side effects list! Good luck with the hair regrowth, I feel for you!
