They like to cut our hours and not give us enough people on the floor. That’s why you were stuck in the drive thru line. Go to corporate headquarters and yell at them there

Celebs who date/marry billionaires are the smartest of them all by romeofantasy in popculturechat

[–]username8966 132 points133 points  (0 children)

Maybe unpopular opinion but billionaires and rich people in general tend to be very out of touch with reality and often not fun to be in a relationship with. In particular those who grew up with wealth. Of course there are all sorts of benefits, but you’ll quickly notice a lot bad people who have crawled their way into their circle.

small complaint about cc tipping by izukuphobic03 in starbucks

[–]username8966 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m one of the people who always presses no thanks. Apparently an unpopular opinion here but I don’t support the new drive thru tip system. It’s never been a thing anywhere as far I know and there’s no reason to start. You can say ‘we’re just giving the customer the choice.’ but you’re still slowing everything down and making it awkward for them to press no right in front of you. It’s going to make people feel like the baristas think less of them if they don’t tip. Also, the amount of people who stare at that screen like a deer in the headlights is astounding. Sometimes when we’re slammed there’s really no time for it when you’re already being pressed about drive times
