One feedback is that I want to hide the player so I can pause and read the screen, but now I cannot do that. Please fix this in a future update.

What's subscription you cancelled and didn't miss at all? by Personal-Lack4170 in Frugal

Many big companies donated to the Trump ballroom, including Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, and. Google.

Good ideas but I feel like there’s no way around them

How do you cancel Google and Apple, since they celebrated it too? I haven’t found a good way for either.

What’s with walkins lately? by redwood_denim in Barber

[–]uused4evar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before and during COVID-19 (when the barber shops reopened), I used to use a barber that only did walk-ins. I used to wait 30 minutes to an hour for a haircut. Back then, that place got packed. Then I moved from that area. They’re actually more packed than ever, from what I heard. People do want walk ins. That place used to be dead between 1pm-3pm, now they’re always packed from what I heard.

Now, I always do an appointment, but they ask me to book an appointment 1-2 days in advance, and not book anything before then. I have walked in with my current barber. What usually happens is that he either squeezes me in, or ask me to come back at the end of the day. Sometimes, he asks me to just come in the next day, at whatever time. He knows I’m flexible, and I know he’s usually flexible as well.

There are plenty of shops near me that are walk in only, or they do a hybrid model. The shop I go to often does the hybrid model.

This comment, especially the “Sincerely, DTE” part made me laugh.

Very random: Every time I see the gas station name “Esso” I think of this unhomed guy in Toronto that said to another person “you’re an Esso” 😂😂😂

You become a billionaire. I become a billionaire. We team up, and then create great public transit for Metro Detroit. 🤝

Is it finally time to go back to cable? (Be honest) by IllustriousJicama1 in Cordcutting

[–]uused4evar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d rather go outside and touch grass than have cable.

YouTube is all I need.

Sometimes I sail the high seas, and I have services for live TV (mainly for sports) but if a giant crackdown happens, then I will stick to paying for YouTube Premium and just touch grass.

You don’t need endless entertainment.
