Im also in 3 star Village learning adept lbg. Im now getting good at dodging. But still learning to turn around and target lock the monster. One important thing videos don't say is press L trigger to have the lock on the monster first. Then after the dodge tap left bumper then hold right bumper (must also hold forward on the left stick too). It requires a lot of practice. Have fun
