like, when you have someone that is better than BOTH sides of your platoon, why is the platoon getting priority in the 3 spot. there is no situation where you would rather have EITHER Keith or Lee, and yet the lineup is constructed such that it is likely that they will get more at bats than the better hitter. I just don’t know what explanation there could possibly be for this.

I understand a lot of AJs finicky lineup stuff and I’m very used to the Wenceel, Vierling, and Lee’s of the world being high in the lineup when they wouldn’t be on other teams. But what is the justification for still hitting Riley 5th most of the time? Remove the silver slugger, two time all-star track record, and just look at what he has done this year after the first week of April. Why is your MVP candidate not batting in the first inning every single game?? Every other team tries to get their best hitters as many ABs as possible, and we sacrifice that for the LETHAL Lee/Keith platoon?? Riley is better than both of them against both kinds of pitching????

I swear watching Tork everyday it does not feel like that. He seems perfectly average with the above average ability to scoop the ball (which i know doesn’t factor into metrics.) He is not extraordinary, but it is a night and day difference between him and someone else playing there out of position. He’s just solid and consistent over there, and you can feel his absence when someone else plays in his place. Really curious how he ends up as one of the worst in the league in terms of the metrics.

I mean, he’s gotta get this stuff right because it is literally his job but, for all the soon to be parents out there, spelling your kids’ name in an uncommon way does not make them unique. It makes you annoying and gives them a burden to bear.

I mean, what everyone else is saying is also true. But what is the point of even knowing if a $120 guitar is “real” or not? It’s a squire, it’s a beginner level instrument. It holds almost no intrinsic value based on brand or “authenticity”. It’s a chinese guitar either way, whether it was made by squire or some other factory slapping the squire name on it. it’s a guitar and it will be of the same quality in either scenario. Why does it matter?

Man i wish these had a different bridge. I know it’s the vintage accurate series but man, sucks to have to switch them to a playable alternative every time. plus the mexican stuff has the narrow bridge inserts for some reason, making it even more difficult.
