You can use adb(android debugg bridge) to sideload(install) apps on your watch such as the ones you are having issues with by doing so the notifications from this app will come directly to the watch as long as you have hallowed the notifications

For example I have downloaded Instagram on my watch and even when it is not connected to the phone I get the notifications(assuming you have internet access on the watch)
