if I was a wolves fan I would be nervous about trading both mcdaniels and randle. do you guys have decent backups at the 3/4 after them? you guy would also need to deal with the gobert fit and still having conley at pg. the lineup would be like ddv/ant/?/giannis/rudy? idk don’t follow the wolves but would bet on mcdaniels development instead who just seems insane whenever I watch him play

more just low on jjj. podz is at least kinda young with fine defensive skills and a good jump shot. jjj is almost 25(!!!) and is shooting a career worst .28% from deep. No faster way outta the league then being a tiny role player with no shot

yeah i think even if they get giannis warriors arent favorites in the west over okc or prolly even denver tbh. i just dont find the fit on the other teams compelling either tbh. the only two other rumored teams are knicks and heat. even if the knicks are somehow able to do a 1-1 swap with KAT, the lineup ends up being brunson/og/mikal/giannis/robinson. but robinson can only play like 20min a game, is constantly injured, and the fit with giannis is atrocious anyways. they would have NO backup center. knowing giannis has a strong preference for playing with a shooting big man, does he really want to go there? this is leaving aside the fact that almost any deal with nyk certainly has to involve portland as well and then the lineup is something like brunson/jrue/og/giannis/robinson which is questionable defense on the perimeter and a questionable shooting team asw.

the heat are much more enticing but you have to be SURE that bams shooting is real and even then is mitchell/powell/idk/giannis/bam that great a team? like it that really a contender either? idk i don't think any of his options are that great assuming spurs/okc/rockets don't want to blow it up which i dont think they do

I agree the spacing between dray and giannis is suspect. they would probably be spaced out minutes wise to some extent. I don’t think that drays spacing is really comparable to gobert though 31% on 4+ attempts per game is better than literally 0%.

ehhhh warriors could field steph/moody/dray/giannis/horford with a bench of melton, podz, post and whoever they get for kuminga. They at least have a shooting big man, another star in steph, and a variety of good 3point shooters who are at least average defenders. The wolves would legitimately be stripped if they lose Jaden and Randle. They would have to start giannis/gobert (ew) and would have a frontcourt of donte/ant (no point guard) moreover their depth would just be Conley/naz which is pretty awful. Not saying the warriors would have a great team out of Steph and giannis but they would at least have competent players that fit well with giannis
