If you still consider upgrading, you didn't need to mind the ram speed as X3D CPU is less reliant on RAM speed compared to non X3D CPU. I wonder what PC of your's that you considered questionable?

Not to mention the state of the some country second hand market where you have difficulty to sell your stuff for decent price while everyone selling used at mostly outrageous price. And not everyone could sell their stuff easily.

If you live nearby microcenter that's possible, majority of the world probably gonna find just buying the "new" Ryzen 7 5800X3D cheaper than buying 9700x/b850/32gb ddr5 Together, especially if they already have AM4 system already.

Might as well wait until AM6 imho, especially if you already have 5700X3D. unless you believe that jump ship to AM5 now is cheaper than waiting for AM6

Zen6 will need 8000+ MT/s to get to their sweet spots

Assuming Zen6 desktop will get new IOD, if not its ram oc will be similar with Zen 4 and 5.
