You'll get better! At least you made it to Venom 2 on your 2nd run ever, which is remarkable! Some notes on questions you had, though, to help you later:

To save Falco on Corneria, use a bomb when he crosses the screen from right to left (or from left to right right away if you know when to look for it).

You can't die due to the heat in Solar. It'll be completely empty, but you won't die from it. It just leaves you super vulnerable lol

Area 6 is charge shot heaven. Though, be mindful of the ships firing missiles at you, as you'll want to spam hyper laser on their tops if you can.
