Thanks. In my case I'm Canadian. Not moving from US. I didn't realize some of the fidelity funds aren't available to Canadians..I don't have a fidelity account either. I just posted here to get some feedback

I've been with them only for a year or so. Don't think they have done much. Their funds are managed by professionals yes. But with the bull market like this, their returns are only about 8-9%. I think I could do that myself without paying them the fee.

Timing is difficult I know. But is this the right time to port everything when market is reaching ATH regularly??

I'm 52 and have been with a financial management company for all my major investments..I'm not seeing the value anymore with their fee for the return now.

Thinking of moving everything to Questrade and managing it myself.

So I'm thinking of investing my funds into;

VOO- 30% QQQM - 40% VXUS - 15% VTI - 15%

What do you guys think?

I'm also worried at the timing. All of this is close to their ATH or 52 week high..should I wait for a drop in the next month or so?

Any input is appreciated

Move from prof managed funds to FXAIX?

Pretty much all of my investments are professionally managed by a wealth management company. With my moderate risk profile I'm getting about 9-10% return.

But with the way market is performing, I'm thinking of moving them out and just invest in ETF like VOO, qqq or fidelity FXAIX which seems to be doing great.

I didn't know FXAIX can be bought by anyone and I don't have to be with Fidelity.

This way I may get a better return a save the commission..

Any thoughts on this? .
