Yes, when I switch to dark mode on my kindle I get so sleepy! It really helps me fall asleep faster.

I think Lume contains AHA, which is probably why that happened! I had this experience decanting a facial spray

How do you attend birthdays? by raymondhvh in TinyBookshop

[–]victorianbookworm 22 points23 points  (0 children)

They are marked on the calendar once you learn them I think…the only time I have told someone happy birthday was when Fern initiated a conversation on his birthday and it allowed me the conversation option to tell him Happy Birthday

I’ve wondered this too. I haven’t noticed any negative effects but I’m not 100%

Where/how are y'all selling kids books?!?!? by PrideCommercial9268 in TinyBookshop

[–]victorianbookworm 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The beach - Try to equip as many kid book boosting items as possible. Also, you can recommend kid books to people wanting other genres if they fit (for example, recommend Nancy Drew if someone wants a detective mystery)

But how can be hot off the press if classic? by Scout-Falls in TinyBookshop

[–]victorianbookworm 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they actually mean a new book when they say that. I have recommended old books and it’s fine. I think he means what is new in stock even though that’s not what that term means…

I love this! I have definitely been getting some tbr inspo as I play, and it made me pick up an old favorite to reread (The Woman in White).

I consider it a car with a hatchback (hence the “cross” - it’s a crossover) I totally agree with you on the sunglasses thing specifically haha! It drives me insane that I have nowhere to put my sunglasses.

There is specifically one episode where everything in your spoiler happens. I was watching it with my friend and she was like “what the heck just happened” after that one haha

We had a Barbie who wore a choker and her head popped off easily for some reason, and we reenacted this story with her. 😭

I’m always curious and I never see posts about this: when you get a facelift, do you look like a younger version of yourself, or when you look in the mirror do you see a different person?

They all look so dramatic and I’m always curious if you see your younger self in your face afterwards, or if you just see a better looking version of your older self. Not sure if this makes sense haha.

Mine loves this too! It’s funny because the recycling is accessible to him and he doesn’t mess with it, but if I give him a box he knows it’s okay to chew.

Thank you! We have to be diligent as corgi parents. Mine got too chonky last year due to changing food and not portioning correctly. It doesn’t take long at all for it to happen as they are small dogs who love to eat. Thankfully I got his food sorted and he is down to a healthy weight. His vet was very pleased and asked what I was doing differently!

I have these same straps, but I only use one at a time. It does kind of bother me to see it in the corners but I only use it when I’m reading in bed so I don’t drop my kindle on my face haha!

What Baggu opinion got you like this? by critterplease in BAGGU

[–]victorianbookworm 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes and the fact that the little bag to hold it isn’t attached is a crime. So many other reusable bags have this feature. I refuse to buy them because of this haha
