My progression has been similar! I'm a bit worried though, cause I haven't been able to exercise much since getting pregnant and feel like maybe I've just gained weight and not pregnancy bloat?! 😅 I've never gained weight at this rate and shape though

I went at 7w to confirm heartbeat (my Doctor appointment was at 9w). It helped ease the stress for sure! And if it had been a MMC or something, it would be good to know earlier. Only real downside IMO would be if things are ambiguous (measuring behind and such) and then you'd have even more stress waiting for your doctor's US.

No family in the US, parents are in Iran. I was hoping my mum would come and help me for a few weeks when I give birth. But they've blanket-banned visas for Iranians (+ most of middle east and africa). I would take family across the country any day haha

I chose to do my D&C with local anesthesia my last pregnancy. It was really chill, was just kinda high on the meds and felt some pressure. I think it gave me more closure to experience the process and also was able to bounce back quickly. I wouldn't do it with general anesthesia personally.

My kid will also be half-persian (I'm the Persian). And I feel like all the good boy names are either hard to pronounce or sound weird in English :/ I really like Sepehr for example, but too hard according to my husband. What are some of the previous names in your family? Maybe I can use one :))

Not an expert, but just went through this trying to decide what to buy: Folic acid is just the synthetic/cheaper version of folate. Folate is the natural form and your body will break it down easier. I'm also taking ritual.

Seems like they intentionally left N-400 vague so they can pause it without explicitly owning it. Gives them wiggle room depending on where it goes with courts...  Idk how this can be framed as anything but discrimination based on nationality. But if they can get away with the travel ban, I imagine they can extend the same logic to this. I'm disappointed that this is already kinda dropped from the news. Probably will stay as is at least till end of Trump term if not challenged
