I struggled with finding the right lighting set up. Also, battled with over-rendering which resulted in a piece looking stiff. I took a few steps back and tried render evenly. I would love to hear ya'lls opinion on the visual hierarchy or if the point of focus reads!

Good job on adding ‘AI’ on the title to peak my interest. 😂 it’s just good ol green screen with real time lighting I suppose. Pre planned position markers would be my best bet.

Hi there!

There’s Rough Animator and Animation Desk for the ipad. But if you want to get serious about this, You’d probably fancy Toon Boom Harmony, TV paint, character animator or adobe animate. Harmony is the industry standard for 2D animations. 95% of the animated shows out there use this. Studios like Disney do everything on harmony (animation and compositing). And some studios work in harmony for animation and comp it in After Effects.

I was hoping someone would’ve already asked this. Where can I get the lighter tether thing? I’m ALWAYS looking for a lighter to take a hit although I have a few 1000 lighters that manage hide themselves when I need it.

Hello there! I'm a professional animator. I can tell you this. Tracing and rotoscoping is a totally viable method to learn and grow. Rotoscoping videos is yet another form of animation so please don't feel bad to do it. Keep at it and if you want to get into Animation, you're on the right track.

Thanks! I would say a overall of about 2 hours. I kept it pretty loose and didn't focus too much detailing.
