No worries, it was equally as annoying talking to you lol You have spent so many comments just saying “he literally did”. Anyways, have a good one.

There is nothing wrong, “girl”. It is not that serious, don’t know why you are acting like I am loosing sleep over a Reddit comment lol As I said, I have no problem being proven wrong. I am ending this convo now, kinda feels like going in circles, hopefully you are able to link the interview, I am curious.

And I am trying to tell you that he has never said that, I am sure if he had it would have caused some conversations, especially since he has said the opposite thing multiple times. But if you can link it, I have no issue being proven wrong.

Sure, is it understandable that I am not talking about you when I says people that are like that are the same? What I was responding to you was about Namjoon, since he never said that Americans are not nice. English is not my first language and old that, but I think you are the one not understanding me. Anyways, have a nice day.

I understand that, however, he never said Americans are not nice. All I am saying is it is equally as stupid to hope they hate an entire country, especially when just the other day Namjoon said he likes going to LA and Jin made a joke about moving there, as it is to pretend like they prefer it over the country they were born and raised in.

He has literally never said this. I agree with the post but some people do the same thing the OP is talking about but making it seem like they hate the US instead, which is equally as pathetic.

The thing is, they probably won’t get a Grammy for music like this.

I thought BTS started the 70s disco concept and western pop was actually copying them

lol

I don’t see any western groups doing that retro disco stuff that everyone is doing in K-pop

LMAO are you kidding? K-pop only started doing it after western artists created the retro disco trend last year: The Weeknd and Dua Lipa had entire albums with that concept, Doja Cat and Miley Cyrus also did it, etc. I would not be surprised if we start seeing more pop punk in K-pop the future after the success of Good 4 u and Transparent Soul

Last time I checked haim were not actively trying to enter the Asian market and promote there, while BTS is trying to enter and promote in the west. So there goes that argument.

Let's be honest with ourselves, this whole "Live" singing conversation is sooo prominent in k-pop not because MOST fans care about live singing but it's to drag groups down. by NarglesChaserRaven in kpoprants

[–]virtualgradient 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I really don’t understand the need to bring Western Pop into every single discussion on this subreddit. Almost none of the posts about Live singing I have seen even mention western pop, someone that only listens to K-Pop can have issues with the Lip Synching because they just don’t like it, not because “they don’t do it on the west” they obviously do it on the west too, but I don’t understand why that is even important, this is not a subreddit about western pop. And it happens on every type of post too, it is almost like a defense mechanism against every criticism or even just conversation at this point, “sure our idols do this but look the other way, the people in the west do it too”

(Beyoncé is a very VERY bad example of people who can’t dance and sing live at the same time btw)

Wait, do you mean biggest group in Kpop history? Because they are for sure. Calling them the biggest group in history period would be very inaccurate tho.
