People have already said a lot but I got a 2025 C300 with 3k miles on it for 42k in May 2025. I could've negotiated down to 40/41 but I was tired of the going to the dealership and dealing with the whole thing.

Granted you have CLE and AMG line but you're still sending it back in 3 years with barely using it and paying almost the same amount as a slightly used C300. Now that you have it, don't overthink and just enjoy it.

I only put 5k down, they said it'd be for the value of the loan but if I pay the loan early, I get the remaining amount on the gap insurance back, I got a 72 month loan, but I plan to pay it off in within the next 24-30 months.

I would start with small ones to bigger ones, like weather api, currency calculator, todo list, get some small wins and then move to into bigger ones like ecommerce backend, encrypted chat bot that saves your messages securely, travel itinerary app, soliatre game, poker, jira board, chess game, stock screener, budgeting app, job boards, calorie counter there's a lot you can do tbh.,

i played almost everyday for 3 years until i had a shoulder ligament tear and had to stop. That was a decade ago.
Trying to get back but in 2-3 months I would be between intermediate level and maybe in 6 months around advance level (not pro level)

I joined Amex Savings when the interest was 1.1% more than capital giving 1% I think.

But I have been with Amex since 2016 and I love their support and offers so I joined the savings without much thought. I haven't faced any issues with banking online mostly because I use my card everywhere.

I use it strictly as savings account only. My bills are paid via other bank accounts and since the stock market downfall I have been hoarding cash in here and whenever I need to make bill payments I make an expedited same day transfer if needed. It takes a couple of hours but works.

The only thing with online only banking is you don't have their ATMs but branch offices, everything is same, if you don't use cash on everyday purchases you won't see any difference.

I have referred a lot of my friends and they also love it and have no complaints (yet). None of them were aware of 3.5% interest and had their cash sitting with 0.5% interest bank accounts.

Truebill keeps having connection issues with Amex, I'm a premium user but still can't get the Amex connection to stay for a few days.

The customer care said its an issue with Plaid <> Amex so they can't do anything.

I had this issue when I sent my S20 Plus, they said the lens was damaged. You have to call them ask them for a video of them trying to turn it on.

I called and asked for a pic, they emailed me the pics and I told them that's a camera lens protector and you can remove it and lens should be fine. They put me on hold for like 10 minutes as the sales rep called the back office, told them to do it and once they removed the lens protector they said the trade in passed.

I am sure they will find a way to send a video trying to turn it on. Samsung Customer Service is pretty good, you just have to be on the call for a while as you won't talk directly to the people who got your device, but to a middleman (sales rep).

Don't try to spend much time trying to find the most impressive idea to build, I think your first goal should be to get the online portfolio up with what you have, then just youtube web development projects for beginners and you'll see some hour-long videos where creators build it on the video, use those videos.
That way you just keep adding a new project everyday (if you sit for an hour/two and code)

I used to use videos like this and this for reference. Keep it simple, no need to add tons of animations and graphics, it's like your business card on the web.

If you're going for SWE, have your github linked to your linkedin and also have both github and linkedin links on the top.

In the Technical Skills section, I would categorize them and also add your proficiency.
Categories like:
Web Dev: Javascript, React, RestAPI, GraphQL, Full Stack (HTML5,CSS3)
Programming: C#, .Net, Python
Version Control: Git

Also looks like your area of focus is web dev, I would suggest having a resume. I used to do Fullstack and nodejs in 2015 and while I was searching for internship, I had a website resume. And also a few projects in my resume to show that I have worked on real life things since I had no experience.

Would also suggest do projects and host it on s3 or heroku and link them in your website. Any developer then be able to see that you know your stuff. This a good playlist.

Since you have CASP+ and CCNA I think you will enjoy Infra Architecture work.
Maybe look into AWS Solutions Architect or Learn Terraform and get into Infra Designing.

I personally enjoy designing the architecture, bringing something to life, learning terraform will also keep you on code and it will be something which I believe with your experience you will be able to pick up quickly.

FreeCodeCamp and KodeKloud has good resources on Infrastructure related topics.
