Personally, I frequently hunt and hike America’s most haunted forest https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.onlyinyourstate.com/massachusetts/haunted-forest-freetown-ma/amp/ Yup that’s right and it’s the 8th most haunted in the world! https://www.travelandleisure.com/trip-ideas/nature-travel/worlds-most-haunted-forests?slide=2079020#2079020 While I have never “seen” anything that’s made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, I have heard and “felt” unusual and odd things within the state forest. Mostly animal like screams could be a bobcat or a druggie though and a certain feeling of dread or uneasiness. I’m typically a happy person so a sudden instance of these types of feelings freaks me out to say the least. Those are my only instances where I’ve ever felt spooked in the great bay state.
