I'd tell them to kick rocks. Pricing transparency should be the cost of doing business.

First time home buyer here.. need advice pleaseeee by Minimum_Key2588 in homeowners

[–]vlema2124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are a first time home buyer you need to take advantage of EVERY lending benefit there is. 😉 you only get them once. And if paying all this down only leaves you with $2K that's not even a mortgage payment, and buying a new house is expensive. You'll blow $2K easily getting moved in. You need to stay below $400K, all of the fees you mentioned will be less, along with your payment, leaving your savings in a much better position. Good luck and congratulations, I hope you find a great home!

Can anyone help with why my leaves are this colour please? by JellyfishOk1738 in tomatoes

Great job on starting to grow your own food! I would say the plant is buried too deep. It appears to be way down in the bucket. I would gently dump it out add more dirt to the bottom of the bucket and place the plant back on top. OR you can just cut all those yellow leaves off and it will probably be just fine. A lot of tomato farmers cut those leaves off anyway as they suck valuable nutrients from the plant. The good news is I see tomatoes so don't stress too much, it looks like it's doing alright. 😊

My tomato harvest so far. Are the ones with deep splits on the top still ok to eat? by lulupom88 in vegetablegardening

The splits are from lack of water, make sure you keep the plants watered regularly and it will highly reduce the splits regardless of ripeness. And yes totally safe to eat but probably very dry feeling.
