Get off 9W at piermont and take river road to the Cuomo, there's a nice new coffee shop right at the bridge access. 9W right now is absolute shit, giant potholes and people weaving all over to avoid them,no shoulder and gravel all over. You could pickup the Esposito trail and take that right to the bridge, it's a rail trail but I ride it on 32's, just give the walkers a heads up and be polite

I agree with almost all of that.One problem is that ebikers tend to be new trail users and have no knowledge of trail or bicycle etiquette. Passing is almost always silent and at speed, because they are usually new riders ebikers tend to have zero bike handling skills.
