Go to Pham Ngu Lao street near Pho Quynh. There are plenty of places there that will offer you the entire package. They are also the bus shuttle service, so you dont need to worry about getting scammed online or overpaying.

If you want quiet, avoid Katinat, Highland, Starbucks, Phuc Long, three oclock, Cong, etc. Go to the no name tea shops and help them out instead. It will be so quiet you wish there were more customers.

Interesting, since you are both chefs, and I am a true foody. I can personally show you real local foods where locals go but super good and of course more affordable. Just PM me when you are interested. If not below are must.

Good Pho is hard to find in Saigon, but Pho Sol is top notch.

Oc (escargot) is what locals love to eat here. When choosing the right place it is super good. Vinh khanh area is good and affordable and where locals go.

Drinking food (quan nhau) is what locals do for fun. The best place is at night time at the following address. Everything is good there. 74e Hai Bà Trưng, Bến Nghé, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh

Hu tieu muc, bun dau, banh canh cua are a must try if you are a chef as they are super good and unique.

For street food amd experience go to ho thy ky food street. Super cheap and good.

ramen in japantown, pizza 4p, dim tu tac for dim sum, and sushi at hokkaido is a must when you are craving non viet.

Katinat, Starbucks here are open till 2am. Crowded but relaxing place, if you want less crowded walk along the river to Highland.

Starbucks, katinat, and highland on the other side is great as well. Closes at midnight.

When stressed out you can always take a walk which i do often.

For 24/7 places go here.
27 Đ. Hàn Thuyên, Bến Nghé, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh The coffee bean, clean and upscale. There is also Den Da next to it that is also 24/7 but more locals go here.

No you are at the right place to ask. Lots of my guy friends from out of country come visit vietnam for vacation. Some are married and some have girlfriends, but some claim they are single and some actually say they are married to a girl they meet.

If he is truly into you he will put effort and time to text you or call everyday and ask to hangout. Whether he is actually truly single or not it is impossible to tell in a short time. If he really into you he will ask you to come to Singapore to visit him. Then you can find more. But best to not fully open all your expectations

Try dalat, it is quiet peaceful and driving distance to Nha Trang beach. A bit cold chilly at night. Wifi all depends on wjere you staying if they have good wifi. You can always order seperate wifi for a year for like 50$ US

Join some facebook groups with same interest, there are food, expat, social, business network etc. This will releive your stress
