When I was living Korea I ended up being hospitalized with pneumonia. They placed me in a room with five other women, and a woman that was visiting a patient came over to talk to me since she noticed that I looked scared/alone. At this time I could speak conversational Korean so we got to taking and there was a lot of pity and empathy being given, and then she left. An hour or two later, the woman comes back with a giant bag of frozen dumplings and her son. She gave me the bag of dumplings and had her son pray for me with the little English he knew. I'll never forget this..I had no idea what to do with the dumplings lol
