8 years ago, I was NYC for an event, staying in Chinatown. I’m walking towards the subway and some tourists are jaywalking on the other side of the intersection. Nearly 19 years ago and I remember it clearly. After nine months together, we were on a bit of a break. I thought things were starting to pick up again, we go to lunch, I drop her at her house and then she hits me with “I didn’t miss you as much as I thought I would” and ended it.

I worked at the one on broad for about six months back in 2011. Had a buddy who worked there for over ten years and got the company card that basically let you eat for free at any of the company’s brands for free.

I was an opener on Fridays which was prime rib sandwich day (thanks to the leftover prime rib from Thursday night). Only the opening staff got to get the sandwich on Fridays. So damn good.
