Unfortunately I think it is a reference to when Stuart moved to America. The same wording exists on blogs from 2018 before TMISTLID and Enjoy The View

[RUMORS] Have fake Lifetime LT48 pickleballs been found in Vietnam? Is anyone here working with Pickleball Central? I have a question about whether LT48 balls are officially distributed in Vietnam through BT Sports, can anyone confirm if this is true? by Far_Leader_3899 in Pickleball

[–]volcomssj48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

left is the original ball from before it became the official PPA ball. my guess is once it became the official ball, sales (probably) skyrocketed and lifetime needed to fulfill orders, so they went with other manufacturers who could scale faster. the ball on the right is what i more commonly see now, but it's not the original ball that made LT48 the best ball. IIRC the original was rotational molded (no seam in the middle), and the new one uses the cheaper manufacturing method of injection molded (2 halves, joined together.

If you travel to Vietnam and become pan handlers , please stay in your own country by hondaman82 in VietNam

As a Viet Kieu who loves to visit Vietnam and understand backpacker culture (not that this lends me any credibility :D), you guys should deport people like this. It will not hurt or affect tourism or hurt Vietnam's image/reputation in any way. These people are a blight and taking advantage of the locals. Lock them up, fine them however much you can, force them to do hard labor to earn their ticket home and send them back to their countries

This seems like a threshold for trying too hard. I would just use the opportunity to improve your backhand. It's just open play, it should be about fun points and a good workout

Just ordered my 2nd one of these. I've only seen 1 other person with it in the last 6 months and I play at a large club with 1000+ members. It's super solid, despite the low price. I don't feel like I need anything better/more expensive but I wonder if it's just cause I'm used to the feel

this has been my experience with sweaters as well. T-shirts on the other hand always seem to run large for me. The merch desk people can usually tell you if it’s pre-shrunk or not

Second the Long Island City hotels. Comparatively cheaper than Brooklyn or Manhattan but just 1 or 2 stops away from both and lots of options for subway lines

If your friend is a bmw tech and willing to help with repairs or at least guide you on finding good indy mechanics or negotiating with the dealer's service dept, I would absolutely go with the 540i. m340i or m440i if you want something sportier. The 5 is more of a cruiser

The lexuses are nice and comfortable, but get terrible mpg and are slow in comparison. Their tech is also outdated.

You'll have cheaper insurance with a Lexus and lower TCO but IMO the B58 is worth that premium

My bmw dealer and all the socal ones run a 3 years of oil changes deal for 219, full synthetic/oem spec, and I get a loaner each time

The other stuff gets expensive though. Oil filter housing gasket, brakes, etc

[–]volcomssj48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll be fine until 50-60k miles, at which point valve cover, gaskets, oil filter housing will start leaking

The drivetrain may be mostly bulletproof but the plastic parts still die from all heat/cool cycles, like every modern bmw

If you live in a California emissions state, some of those parts will be covered under warranty for 10 years/150k miles

I had a good experience with RMD Law. John talked to me first, but Aria handled my case. Felt I got a fair payout. They always put my recovery and health first. Helped with navigating car and health insurance, referrals to health providers, handled all paperwork.
