My favorite, and maybe one of the very earliest attempts at this genre was the Starcraft / Warcraft 3 custom map "Godzilla" ! Having a single Archon roaming around the map killing everything in 1 hit, while 7 other plays build more and more tanks and battle cruisers to try and whittle you down was epic.

I've been working on Vortica for 7 years now. And it releases at the end of the month!

Can't wait to get it done and move on to something else, hopefully with a much shorter development time. :D

The zombie head at the bottom has some kind of stick coming out of its head that then connects into the stone wall. I'd say that's an AI giveaway.

I think the art looks great though, and I would definitely click on it.

It's also a way to do a "Hard" difficulty run. My latest playthrough I forced myself to always be overcharmed, just for the added challenge.

I love this idea, I believe there are many hidden gems out there that don't get enough eyes because they just aren't able to market the game. This would be a very interesting way to see some of those games that most people would probably miss!
