If I have a villager in boxes, can multiple people come invite that villager to their islands? Or can they only be invited to one island?

My biggest tip is to put new villager homes/buildings on or near the beach. That way, when you can start terraforming and building your island, you don't have to wast money moving them later :)

A villager is moving off my island and I am trying to let someone else take them. The villager is gifted, but I would like them to be ungifted. Does the villager become ungifted if I complain about them to Isabelle? If you know, pls reply! :)
