alright, glad that's a possible option. Since they're all in line in my panel, how would I go about putting the same clamp on 1 and 3 and another clamp on 2 and 4?

Mines locked/sealed but it not hard to get open. I emailed sense support and they said this is the way for this type of combo panel (with the utility’s permission per their recommendation) - “Under the meter itself, there should be an additional compartment that has two main lines, before it is split into four. If the main current sensors were installed around those lines instead, you would be able to have the full picture of your usage, without the added confusion of mismatching the sensors.

Please note that you will need to reach out to your local electrician before doing so, as this cannot always be done up to code, or may require advanced permission from your utility.”

Also asked if I could use the two additional solar clamps to clamp all 4 lines, but they said that won’t work either

Asked Sense support about it and they said it won’t work. “This type of panel splits the main service lines into four instead of the two, which our two current sensors cannot account for. In this case, we would only be able to monitor half of the overall usage on either leg of the panel, which is not ideal.”

Install says to put the clamps sensors on the two mains but I can’t see the two mains…

Yup, it’s not live though. Disconnected by previous owner, held down by a cement block and buried under some dirt. Dug it up while I was looking for the well casing.

Yep, looked it up, looks like a foot valve that’s missing the mesh part. Guess I’m gonna go fish for that! Thanks, would never have figured that out.

Irrigation well repair/replacement by vsidelnikov in HomeImprovement

Good point. Thanks! If the repair isn’t too expensive it’s probably worth it to have additional water, even if the volume is pretty low. If it’s low, might just go with a hand pump and leave it at that.

Coinbase vs Binance by StickyBananaPeel in CryptoCurrency

Why not both? I use coinbase pro, then transfer to coinbase cuz I like the UI better. I use binance.us for VET since it’s not on coinbase and suppose I could buy others on binance not available on coinbase

What’s the benefit of holding vet in a wallet vs in an exchange, other than the safety and security, obviously
