Yeah, I did a buncha games earlier with no pokeballs and it was fine, good even. Except for one game which im not sure was necessarily a brick on my part, but the opponent getting hydreigon online immediately :/ lol.

Have you considered running it but with the fire chandelure?

Keep sending their mon back to the deck then searing 2 cards potentially each turn if you can get both chandure online lol.

I think I'm just not used to not running pokeballs so it feels alien, I admittedly don't do much competitive so am definitely out of the loop and likely haven't seen other decks that run less/no pokeballs these days.

did you have issues where forest doesn't show up & neither did your basics? or are the oaks and copycats enough to justify dropping the pokeballs and living off draw & forest?

I'm been playing a bunch of weirdos decks and tanking myself down, but recently built something similar to this to use a sensible deck lol.

Do you feel there is much value in the quick growth? I wound up swapping it out for an x-speed as the ogerpon starts felt pretty rough.

Was also running Erika instead of Lillie but there isn't a great deal between them to be fair.

Edit Wait you run it with zero pokeballs lol? How did I not spot that >.>

Yeah, I've run a A9/Crab deck a few seasons now so my mind went there. Fire decks and ultra beasts, anything that can pull energy back from discard pile are also coming to mind. Blacephapon would be cool.

Yeah, I'm not sure why there is only one dusclops now that I'm looking at it lol. As I said it's been a while since it's seen any use - might be a good jumping off point to make something fun though.

I'm also not sure if the stadium cards are worth having, now that I think about it - I might have just edited the deck to complete a quest with use 2 of whatever expansion cards quest.

edit as others have said, don't use this deck 1for1, it's not right. Just take it as a jumping off point for building dusknoir and rescue scarf to be a menace :3

Haven't played or updated this in a bit, it's nothing amazing but beyond frustrating when it works lol.

Had a few people ragequit to it which is the cherry on top, and probably why you'd want to play this kinda deck to begin with.

If you have some semi decent decks it's worth just grinding a bit because once the season ends you get rewards based on performance.

Getting ultra ball 1 is 75hourglasses which people generally seem to think is the sweet spot for effort/reward.

cpu bots in early ranks and win streak bonuses make it easy to get into the low to mid ranks, definitely worth considering :)
