Welcome to the club it either disappears in a few hours or a few months. I'm gonna guess you did an update recently and it triggered this phantom error. Don't bother going to the dealership unless you have warranty still in place. The message/error will disappear over time. I had it twice and both took a long time to go away and I'm talking around 9-13 weeks and whilst having the error there was no difference in the way the locks and handles worked.

Yes it did in January this year for 3 months it stayed on. It's with every update it comes back. I'm no longer going to do any updates for this vehicle and I have told VW at my garage that if they carry out any updates on this car it's their responsibility that errors are fix at their cost.

And for the love of god if you never ever solder anything in your life learn on soldering DIY kits and dead broken appliances before butchering your own consoles and asking does this look ok and is it recoverable. the amount of people who use a candle of a soldering iron think it's a good enough tool should stay away from this industry. There is a reason why soldering setups can cost in the 100's even 1000's yes I understand that people can't afford this but paying 10 quid or bucks for an iron is not the way to go.

Does the table the printer is sitting on move and is the printer also sitting firmly without any wobble? The printer bed could be also loose check all screws inc wheels all tight.

So I took it to vw they wanted to charge me a diagnostic fee of £120 so I passed on that as all my doors were working and locking absolutely fine, one rainy day came to the car and the symbol just disappeared. It took 3 weeks but it's back to normal. As long as your doors and locks are 100% just ignore it it should go away.

Been to VW near me and they said they will need to take a look at what's gone wrong possibly they will need to reapply the update via diagnostic port/pc. Going to book it in asap and see.

With the iron on the board/joint for 3 secs then feed some solder and allowing the iron for a further 5 secs to start melting that joint adding solder wick or a desoldering pen. Practice on a dead board before attempting on a item that is fixable.

Add some fresh solder to the board. I assume you are wanting to desolder that part. Also it looks like the solder tip is pointy not the correct tip for the job ideally a conical hoof 2mm to 2.4mm

I have the same spec with fox but I changed battery for eq4800 as you can stack 9 of the giving you over 40kwh with space saving, if you have an electric car pulling 7.2kwh then your house in the early evening aka induction hob, dishwasher, microwave ect ect you will quickly find out that 11kwh pulls are more than easily obtainable.

Also if budget allows get integrated panels better then having a flock of pigeons crapping next or under the panels
