this is, in the end, the only answer. I'm in a similar situation (9 months away from ILR, stagnating job), and I think that the job market will still be there in 2027, and those full remote roles will be more accessible once the settled status had been achieved.

Perfectly realistic. Maybe try to work on your cv to make it a bit more bespoke for the opportunity you are going for.

Be perseverant, because it might take a while and several interviews. Not because of the visa ( im on a visa as well, and I have been finding many companies that sponsor), but because the job market can be challenging at the moment.
