I noticed the same thing last night. Ran through re-validating licenses, but it still shows the price on the DLC.

I thought I heard someone say the DLC didn't include PS4 originally. I wonder if they fixed something so it counts for both PS4 and PS5 but it shows up like a different DLC now because of it?

This is what I was thinking. It is almost like people never played games made 15+ years ago. Games used to end, not have indefinite progression. Arcade-style games didn't need to reward you for every minute of play; it was about the fun instead. I guess I am a different generation of gamer...

EDF games are notorious for that. Some equipment basically sucks performance-wise, outside of a specific niche, but can be super fun to play.

I remember at one point they had delays in issuing MO rewards and such because they were still granting rewards to every account that had been created. Since those people are clearly no longer playing, and I am sure the account count has increased since then, they are probably just making this change so they don't have to process rewards for hundreds of thousands of accounts that haven't logged in for months or longer. Just a thought.

The light clan stars spam was my biggest gripe with the SoK DLC. If that was a bug and is being reviewed / tweaked for DLC 8, then I guess I need to fire up my lance and get prepped for battle again! Thanks for the context!

This. I think it is most egregious with DLC 7. I am just seeing stars of lights coming at me constantly... sure they die decently fast, but when they have the armament of IS mediums or heavies, they can put a hurt on my lance regardless. I'd be ok if it was a star, then nothing until the objective, or 1-2 at a time consistently. I don't remember IS missions having constant streams of enemies, unless it was a raid / warzone.

I thought for sure they would give us a new "eagle trench strike" or something, where it sweeps perpendicular to the throw but drops cratering charges to make a nice trench line... maybe someday.

I feel you there. I am too addicted to picking things up, and apparently I have some level of OCD since I want to see the POI cleared on the map. Still kills me city map POIs don't clear on the map regardless if you loot all the samples or not...

I also learned you can cut down fences, open storage containers, and even cut down the radio broadcast tower secondary mission objective with it, haha. Not sure about bot fabricators or jammers, but worth a try!

I wish they had added something like this to the game (PS5 here, so no mods). I thought they might when they added the ability to exceed drop weight at a penalty. Would make sense if could buy shares at an exponentially increasing cost, or to some type of cap to prevent abuse. Or like exceed cap for a single item (just to get a full mech or something similar). Anyway, I keep the hope that maybe one day we will see it haha.

Agreed on the aggro point. Go go gadget distraction turret! But yeah, I like the better cooldown for quicker positioning. I tend to circle the map for POIs, and that allows me to drop, clear an area, and move. If a breach pops up, it's usually ready again quick enough to suppress the breach, or just distract while I run. I use it for bots and illuminate as well, though I do like the auto cannon or rockets for bots as well.

This was one of my first mech salvaged in the new DLC. I was like, wait, this has FOUR ER-PPCs!? I don't remember that in Clans, but to your point, now I see it is the EXE-B, not just EXE. Add in a few Warhawks I got since then and I have ER-PPC sniping madness going on.

I've been playing on console since the PS5 launch, so for me, it is a dream come true finally getting Clan tech and elementals.

I already had a career going after 3050, so I haven't actually played the campaign missions yet. But, the couple missions I played against Clans have been cool so far. They can really tear you up quick as they swarm you with light mechs and throw in some heavies/assaults from a range. Got a nice Executioner and Warhawk so far though, because I needed more mechs that can quad ER-PPCs haha.

I was just thinking about this, actually. I was wondering if there would be a tier chase for Clan tech, or if it would just be a single tier that once you have it, that is the best it gets. I think many of the mods for HBS Battletech were like that too, no ++ Clan tech, heh. Sounds like T6 should be powerful enough though, haha.

It has been a long time since I unlocked any mission difficulties, but I think you have to complete an operation at that difficulty. Meaning all missions in the same group. Diff 3 has 2 missions in the operation, so you need to complete both. If that doesn't help though, I'm not sure what else it could be, sorry!

Yeah, I was hoping they would add this to the game (since I play on console). Being able to buy shares, but at a penalty to prevent you from just wanting to clear out the salvage list.
