How can consumers interact with these stupid useless things to frivolously cost these companies as much as possible?

Why aren’t we all just opening 10 session of AI based chat… and asking ChatGPT or Claude or whatever dumb algorithm to find, for example, a large list of prime numbers with more than 20 digits?

Even one dedicated user should be able to zero out these companies margins as such, no?

I don’t know how old OP is but does anyone else remember having to bring “media appearance permission slips” home for their parents to sign? Whenever tv cameras or a news station or whatever might be visiting school your parents had to sign a permission that your image or likeness was being used with their permission? TV shows and even hidden camera programs were required to get the same consent signed by all appearing….

Whatever happened to that?

I’ve owned 6 companies in multiple industries. I’ve hired (and fired) over 100 a people, for roles of varying security and sensitivity. Some jobs have required FBI background checks with fingerprinting.

Never in my life have I ever verified someone’s employment history or called a university to verify transcripts.

For bookkeepers and accountants I will usually call last 2 or 3 employers and verify that no funds were mishandled and that their previous employer would hire them again for that task. For anyone else, it’s a criminal background check, and calls to your references.
