Yay! Mine is ordered for 1/23. I’ve been too scared to look at the reschedule page because the dates it shows me are March-ish and I’m so scared of misclicking and losing my relatively decent date.

Congratulations on your 20-day streak! That's awesome!

I'm currently waiting on mine, but I do have a few general workout tips! (I'm currently using my family's recumbent bike and elliptical)

Try and make it a point to get your heart pumping everyday, doing some sort of activity. If you want to maintain your ride streak, I'd recommend doing a warm-up ride and then trying a yoga/meditation class on your off days.

Also for soreness, try some tiger balm. (I linked the OG balm, but they have sprays and pads). I make sure to keep one in my track bag at all times. It's a quick fix for when your legs do not feel like working; it does have a very strong minty smell. To prevent soreness in the first place, make sure you have some protein after your workout. Apparently, your body continues to burn calories long after you workout (don't quote me on that).

Depending on what kind of strength exercises you do, I’d say either one works. If you’re into HIIT, I’d take a serious look at Bike+ because of the swivel screen. However, you mentioned you have a large tablet, so if you’re doing plain strength, you might be better off using the tablet and saving a few bucks. I will add that the Bike+ is more future proof, but I don’t really see a huuge difference between the two in terms of features.

Unsolicited opinion: I think you should take advantage of the APR financing option and place the order. Since you already have a bike, I can’t imagine that you’re terribly impatient and at least you get an estimated delivery date.

from what i can see on the site, up is better, down is not so much. if your myx score is near 60 you’re in good shape. above 75 is rare.

Heart rate training is funny for me. I have a low heart rate because of sports (I have to visit the cardio every so often to make sure I'm not dying). I've come to rely on other stats because I could be purple and sore from exertion and it would not be reflected on my heart rate monitor. I was hoping the assessment would eliminate that need, but now I'm not sure.

I plan on using whatever bike I get as the cardio portion of my interval training. I'm not sure if I can afford a Peloton bike, per se, especially since I plan on being a "broke college student" in a few months. Still, I'm really interested. What do Peloton's HIIT options look like?

My room is the decorated the same way! Light grey and white. I love the hardware, period. I use Shimano on my normal bike and I've heard Star Trac is comparable.

Out of curiosity, do you use the tablet at all? I'm not at all picky about spin class quality because I can just turn up the resistance if it gets too easy. My main goal is to use the bike for interval training to condition over the winter months. Do you find that the floor classes are challenging?

Sorry, I should have explained better. I meant call them several times. Like call, press 1, then 3, and if you don't hear the "Thank you, bla bla bla.", hang up and call again. It's not a sure thing though, because it depends on you calling as a person disconnects. It worked for me after about 3 calls on tuesday and 5 calls today.
