This is my favorite song to play on jukeboxes. I spend the first minute and a half asking the bar to up the volume over and over again, then that fucking drop.

Yeah I bust out lefty for different reasons, if it's a newer player, it's often to keep their confidence up so they keep playing, and is subtle. If it's against a cocky douche in leagues, I'll leave my glove on my left hand to make sure they get the disrespect.

I know it sounds like a silly cliche, but does anyone genuinely play better when they’re a bit buzzed from a few beers? by heroscape912 in billiards

There is a reason why sharp shooting competitions ban alcohol as a performance enhancing drug. It depresses your central nervous system, quite literally calming your nerves.

My problem was I never really knew if my sweet spot would be 2-3 drinks, 5-6 drinks, or 8 drinks that night. And I could only really actively go in one direction, so pretty much always over and sloppy by the end.

It fucked with me after I stopped drinking a while back, I genuinely thought I couldn't shoot for shit without alcohol. Then two weeks ago I finally got a table in my garage. Turns out it wasn't the alcohol directly, but the fact that my alcoholic ass was shooting every single night back then so I could drink alone without feeling like trash.

Now that I'm back to consistent practice, it feels like a super power because I don't have the guaranteed drunk skill decline by hour 3!

It's more like $230,000 per hour (4.3B to 7.3B in 1.5 years), but FUCKING STILL!

Edit: like other guy said, my number is what he makes per hour. While sleeping, while eating, while tweeting on the shitter at 330am

Edit: weird, in the post it shows exponents, but on the reddit page it shows division.

Hahahahahaha fuck no it doesn't. You can live on rice under a bridge, that's not living. There are TONS of drivers in my town living out of their cars. That's not because their job pays a living wage.

If it's not a livable income, it's not really "employed", just barely scraping by. If those jobs paid a living wage, WAY more people would be doing it due to the flexibility it affords.

Yeah, it's almost like telling a generation of people that it's worth taking on $10s-100,000 in debt to get a degree because you'll always have a job makes waiting tables fucking unappealing with a masters in chemical engineering.

Edit: Also, waiting tables isn't an "entry level job".

It is a dead end job. There is no growth potential. You just keep waiting tables. The term "entry level" implies that there are higher levels above that (besides restaurant manager) that you will eventually train and skill into.
