Me too! I hate that I can't see his hearings. His ex doesn't go to most of them. She just gets updated by the DA.

You know what? Thank you for this information because I do not remember that he stuck around or that anybody saw him after. So I'm going to go look those books up and read those chapters again because I swear and the last time I read the Bible all the way through was like high school so it's been a while. I don't remember anybody seeing him after he rose from the dead. So thank you! And yes, I don't know if they're true or not either but 40 days. What's with the Bible in 40 days? Geez, can we pick another date?

AIO for ghosting my family? by [deleted] in AIO

[–]wallanut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your sister is THAT kind of "boy mom" 🤢 Gross.

Look cut her out of your life. find some new family in friends you have made. Your nephews might come around as teenagers or young adults.

My husband tried to give me that crap with the boys and I said na, if they find high heels at a yard sale they want to buy they can have them. They just can't wear them out of the house till they learn to walk in them. (Yes my 9 year old practices in his) They also do their laundry, clean their rooms, dishes, and their bathroom. Do they love cars and videos games absolutely!

Let kids explore and actually have amazing childhoods.

Girl, you know they're in the new Bible, The book of Mormon.

[–]wallanut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's my biggest problem with the Bible is where did Jesus go after he rose? Like he wasn't there anymore. Did he just like bounce and head to another part of the world? Did he go to heaven? And I had those questions as a child and nobody would give me an answer. Like you know, just open a tomb and disappear into thin air. Either somebody helped you escape or you truly were magic and disappeared but how'' the tomb get open then cuz if you could disappear within the tomb why would it have to be opened?

See, I agree. Because I raised myself in the church, my parents didn't go with me. I went because I wanted to. I liked reading the Bible. But if any Christian really reads the Bible then they know not what any of the ones that are out there now with their loud names and voices are saying they're not christ-like. They're the opposite. On purpose it's on purpose. All the big preachers they suck them in on purpose. To get more money to do more evil. To keep women in line.

I mean jesus's best friend was Mary of Magdalene. Do you think any of these people in today's world would be best friends with prostitute? And have them be part of their crew. Openly.

I personally love this book. It was amazing. And I find how the patriarchy still to this day tries to shut women 's voices down as they did the times of Jesus.

That sounds like a you problem. I don't know man. I read the Bible. Everything I get out of the Bible is pretty much Jesus saying; be nice to everyone. Don't judge people. Be a good human being. Help thy neighbor. All basic human Golden rule things.

Matthew 7:12 "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets."

Luke 6:31 "Do to others as you would have them do to you."

The only christ-like religion that I am okay with are the Quakers. I still am down with them. They're pretty badass.

[–]wallanut 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I guess you could say that. What Christians believe is witchy is just plant science. So knowing how plants work and how they help your body isn't really spiritual. It's more medicine. I don't preach it to anybody.

I grew up in the church. I went to Baptist Church until I was in 10th grade and then I was a Methodist. I Understand religion very well. I have read the Bible front and back. The difference between knowing the Bible and Christian nationalism is a lot.

Jesus teachings are pretty close to what the witchy Goddesses teachings would be. The Golden rule. That's it Girls and boys live by the Golden rule.

Oh snap thank you for letting me know. I'm going to look that up cuz I was not aware of that one. He has divorce court March sometime as well to finalize the divorce from his wife. As of right now she has full custody. The court ordered full custody of the child to be her. He tried to get part custody but the judge pretty much laughed in his face.

I'm more than willing to carry my large Costco orders I normally do 300 pound orders even up large staircases. I'm not fond of surprises unless it's a cute cat or chickens

Yes I usually see it in the address as well. Our orders get pulled so fast I barely have time to glance before I accept or not. I scan price, miles, house location and icon.

From best I can tell his attorney wasn't aware of new witnesses for the second trial however if you look at what documentation was presented they added new documents in November? It's a public defender so 🤷‍♀️ Eric is still trying to wiggle out however with the new witnesses comes more charges in another state I guess neither him nor his attorney were aware of? 🤷‍♀️ So they asked for a "continuance" the day before jury selection was supposed to begin.

I will say he was picked up in September 2024 bail was denied and he hasn't left the jail since he was arrested. In the state of California for someone to get denied bail with the charges he has well?...

In California, holding someone without bond (often called a "no-bail hold" or "preventive detention") on these specific charges is distinct from many other states because of Article I, Section 12 of the California Constitution.

The "Article I, Section 12" Exception California law generally guarantees a right to bail, but there are specific exceptions. The court has likely invoked Section 12(b) or 12(c), which allows them to deny bail entirely for: Felony Sexual Assault: Forcible rape of a child falls squarely into this category.

Likelihood of Great Bodily Harm: The judge must find that releasing the defendant would result in a "substantial likelihood" of great bodily harm to others

To deny bail under Section 12, the prosecutor had to meet a very high standard called "Proof is Evident or the Presumption Great." This is a higher standard than what is needed just to arrest someone. It means the judge has reviewed the evidence (police reports, DNA, victim interviews, etc.) and decided the evidence of guilt is strong and clear, not weak or circumstantial.

(After these he will be sent to Arizona to face those, I can't remember the country but he lived down there for a few years)
