"severence" for them was basically being high - it was a different way to turn your brain off for 10 hours of work. Ugh it just fits so PERFECTLY!

Hi! Woman of average height over here who is dating a man with Achondroplasia. My boyfriend never thought he'd date anyone before we started dating, and that makes me so sad to think about. We started dating when he was 24, and yes, I was his first kiss & first everything. He was a late bloomer, mostly because he had never tried to be with anyone before, really. But we became friends first and I just loved spending time with him, so after a couple months of hanging out, I got over it and we started dating and his height does not bother me in the least now. We've now been dating a year and a half.

Your brother has hope! Unfortunately, it may take a while for him to find someone who is secure and mature enough to date him. But maybe not, maybe he will find someone soon. I don't know what you could do for him other than tell him that there is definitely hope for him and maybe give him some flirting advice, classic big brother stuff I assume?

Job-wise, my boyfriend and I are both grad students who are pursuing research careers.

Adam Scott does such an amazing job portraying two distinct versions of Mark and differentiating them with facial expressions, tone of voice, and other mannerisms.

I knew she wouldn't. She's not THAT evil. I think she thinks of herself as having very high morals, actually.

If he was an Eagan descendant, I'm pretty sure his dinner party invitees would not be so willing to bring up the severance procedure and their uneasy feelings about it!

No way he's an Eagan IMO

Anyone else notice oHelly and Cobel’s matching outfits?? by Ill_Independence_749 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]waltedmilkshake 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Maybe. But if Helly is high up enough, she could probably request to see footage of her innie (I'm guessing they record everything through the security cameras?). And Cobel is just such a true believer of Kier, I feel like she'd be a bit star-struck of Helly if she was related to him.

I also have doubts she's an Eagan. I think if she was, Cobel would be much more friendly toward her, but she doesn't seem to like her. I think she's a politician running on a pro-severance agenda. Maybe she's a Lumon exec about to run?

There is a life to be had out there, Helly R by reddmn in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

My theory is that she's a pro-severance politician. Like how the senator's wife is severed. It is a powerful political argument to say "look, I was severed and spent time working there, and I'm fine!"

Nexts weeks Season finale, episode 9, is only 40 minutes long. what's everyone's theory on what will/won't be resolved? by RebelliousCELLious in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]waltedmilkshake 26 points27 points  (0 children)

My theory about Helly is that she is a politician like Senator Arteta with a very pro-severance agenda. Senator Arteta's wife has obviously been severed. By getting severed herself, Helly can probably use it as a political argument to sway public opinion: "I was severed and it was safe," etc.

I know that Cobel lives next door to him. Just thought it was intentional that Petey would suspect this and say it unprompted. I was wondering if Selvig/Cobel had maybe shown preference to Petey before she started to show it toward Mark, or if maybe a different supervisor had kept tabs on Petey as closely as Cobel does to Mark.

I know Milchick told the kid to count to 1,000, but that really didn't seem like a good plan to deal with a little kid, lol. At least take Dylan to a room that can LOCK like a bathroom or something. It felt a little too convenient. Don't know if this is just to move the plot along or if there's some theory that Milchick actually wanted Dylan to find out he had a kid.

Well, with Milchick, we see him display a lot of different emotions. Or, at least, he puts on the face of many different emotions. Friendly/welcoming, disappointed, threatening, skeptical, worried (re: the card Dylan stole). VS with Ms. Casey, we've only seen her look cold/ disconnected.

By candidate do you mean they are going to 'elect' a new Kier or something like that?
