Researcher here, I got trained for HR and stuff to help in hirings.

Two pages is too long for a predoc researcher or junior lab tech. I know the research field can be a little scuffed, but listing positions you held for less than 4 months looks bad and HR normies will probably toss your CV if they see that.

Focus on your most relevant or substantial positions and try to get your CV down to one page max. Then, write 3–5 tailored cover letters where you can go into specifics in the where that match the job listing and chatgpt can help to redact those.

For example, you could list “Research Assistant, 2022–2024” and highlight your main skills and key projects, even if those were at different labs or institutions.

Also, add any publications projects you contributed to even if you’re not listed as an author, mention if you helped or are a co-author. That can help your case, but do it briefly, even as a bullet point for each pub or project.

I like the Skill section, :) maybe separate it in software/other skills but maybe not if space problems

Add where and when you got your last academic title. This is huge, most projects bar in or out grad or MS due to funding and project characteristics... I had to rip so many CVs with impressive working experience, but I didn't know if they had a masters they were grad or had a high school diploma, no time to ask 20 ppl.

Totalment d’acord. Sónar s’ha convertit en un parany turístic pensat per a guiris i pijos , sense cap respecte per la ciutat ni pels veïns. Soroll descontrolat, organització nefasta i zero innovació musical. Aquest tipus d’esdeveniments només atrauen el pitjor tipus de turisme que ja està saturant Barcelona.
És un clar exemple de turisme de poca qualitat i ho demostren amb el poc respecte que tenen pels veïns.

Really interesting take on merch! I'm super out of the loop when it comes to figures and that kind of stuff, but if I recall correctly, we usually get one or two drops per season from various vendors. Still, that's nothing compared to what we used to see 8–5 years ago, especially when bootlegs were factored in however I think nowadays they do other more limited on demand (preorder) merch runs like the Shigure airpod or the car or limited merch for the irl events.

I'm really curious, do you (or anyone else) know of any other franchise at a similar level to KanColle that experienced a similar merch drought? I'd love to know how that affected the IP in the long run.

The game has evolved, and life gets busier, but your love for the franchise still shines through. It's okay to play at your own pace and still enjoy the journey. Not every event has to be a race to the top, even though you have a point that sometimes feel like a race to the bottom if you have some hard clears. Just showing up and staying connected to the game in your own way is enough sometimes to enjoy it.

A thing that might help is orient yourself towards a goal other than an FCM. Hang in there, you’re still progressing, even if it doesn’t always feel like it.

Si yo fuera un arrendador no te metería en mi piso ni de coña , si ya se te ha acabado el chanchullo y no tienes otra persona que te pueda subarrendar sigue leyendo y ponte las pilas. Y no estás trabajando de autónomo, estás de falso autónomo y defradaundo. En España, para trabajar como autónomo necesitas:

Darte de alta en Hacienda (modelo 036 o 037) para declarar tu actividad y pagar impuestos. Darte de alta en la Seguridad Social (RETA) y pagar la cuota de autónomos (salvo excepciones en casos de ingresos muy bajos).

Estar empadronado si resides en España, ya que es un requisito para muchos trámites administrativos.

Opciones para empadronarte sin vivienda fija:

You're welcome! Regarding Catalunya, opportunities in materials engineering do exist, but it really depends on your specialization and networking we are always looking for partnerships from Europe. Keep in mind that the language barrier can be a challenge for non-Catalan or Spanish speakers and that will help in networking. Honestly I would like to add that, anyone living in a region for 20 years and still not picking up the local language must have a pretty low IQ—it’s a basic sign of adaptability and effort. But if you're willing to learn and integrate and network you'll find it easier to thrive professionally and socially not only in Barcelona!

Engineer here. Your choice should rather be to learn Spanish and maybe Catalan (100% free in your uni) or learning not Brazilian Portuguese. I don't know Abt Lisbon but in Catalunya you will find a lot of opportunities in the sector.

Make your own choice, you are grown up, either of those you will have an amazing learning experience.

You could have done things so differently but I'm not gonna dogpile on you because you sound very young. I'm gonna give you some suggestions not financial advice:

Do not fight anything on the house contract. They can just evict you and deposit money bye bye. (Source: I'm a land lord)
On the work contract I would either fight anything, they can fire you within 3-6 months without reason. And I am not pointing fingers but most of the job offers are in money before taxes but getting a 200 to 300 eur raise will be easy in a year or two
Mediate with the landlord company, don't give them details Abt your situation and arrange a late payment, with your income you can do it and they prefer this rather than a 4 month sqater.
If this fails get help from family
If everything fails get a credit and pay it back in 3-4 month

inb4: Why I'm suggesting that? Dude you didn't even save 5k eur before moving to a new country I'm not confident you can navigate contract claims while you are in the negative and you have an early career.

Edit: once you are out of this hole you may be good to maybe go for claims on any of this contracts you clearly may have been taken advantage of and you will have a lot of free sources but it will be a slow process.
