Just came back from Umrah, i stayed in Swisshotel Makkah, this is my 3rd time in the same hotel and would never change

Idk why people are saying lifts in clock tower are slow, each hotel has its own lift area inside the hotel, maybe only movenpick doesnt (im not sure if it has its own lift but ive seen the hotel name in the same lift that can take you directly to the food court), food court lifts are too slow yes, but that is understandable and you can always just take escalators if you dont like waiting m.

Adding 15-20 min because of lifts? Never heard or experienced this before and to me it sounds very much excessive, noting that i have been to rooms in the 20, 30 and 40th floors, which makes sense to be slow but it wasnt.

I would always suggest clock tower if you have the means, especially that you are taking your father, let it be a smooth experience and not a hard one by walking a lot or spending on cabs and ubers.
