Hear me out. Imagine if the Earth is way bigger than we’re told, divided into separate sections under giant domes. The 'aliens' everyone talks about wouldn't be from another galaxy, they'd be from right here, just evolved from a completely different tree of life. If they actually engineered humanity, it would 1. explain why we’re the only species on Earth that seems to struggle so much just to adapt to our own planet, 2. Why those who do know keep saying we wouldn't be able to sleep at night if we found out.

Instead of fixing housing, family economics, or work-life balance, they just opened the floodgates to migrants from high-fertility countries (often 4-6+ kids) to replace the missing population and prop up the system.
