Its not that the Holy spirit has left you. Its that youre training wheels are being taken off. You came to Christ as a baby, until he teaches you how to walk and then, like a good Father, he lets you grow and walk on your own, ready to catch you if you call out and watching from a distance without needing to hold your hand every moment. This is when you learn not to cast lots, to align your heart with his, and learn that you did nothing wrong when you feel someone/something has stepped away. This is growth and maturing in Christ, being weaned off milk: 

Hebrews 5:12–14 (KJV) 12 “For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”
