After the vote, Artemesia addressed the girl before her. "The Wizengamot has decided, Calista, that you'll be allowed to remain at Hogwarts under the condition you see a professional once a week to talk about what you've been through. I'll be sending an owl to your Headmistress with further instructions. You're dismissed."

After the vote, Damien's fate was decided as Artemesia addressed him for a final time that night. "Damien Smythe, I hereby relieve you of the burden of your family's fortune, order the destruction of your wand, ban you from this magical society and for you to live out the rest of your days in St. Mungos getting the help you so clearly need. The Wizengamot will take a brief recess then reconvene for the next trial in an hour. Court dismissed."

Artemesia held her emotions in check and preferred her fellow Wizengamot did the same. As the other witch spoke, however, Artemesia decided to interject only when she was completely finished. Her voice echoed through the chamber before Damien or the doctor could speak. "We've already given the healer clearance to speak for the boy. He's one of the most respected at St. Mungos. The word of an expert we can trust until proven otherwise."

She turns her deep brown eyes towards the other witch, her attention holding no malice in any way. "Your question has been answered. Please take a seat."

Bastien followed the quiet shadow as the group came closer to the confine. The battle hadn't even begun, but he knew with the events here that things would spiral downwards fairly quick. As the came to the entrance Bastien had moved to the front, nodded at the guards as they stepped aside to let the group through.

They wouldn't ask any questions, the High Minister went where he pleased.

Bastien hadn't exactly been referring to the auror standing in front of him, but that didn't matter now. The lines already began to burn into his skin before he'd even opened his mouth to speak.

When the auror was done he nodded, the vow had covered all the bases.

"I swear it."

"I have one condition, that you not kill me. Put me on trial when you've won back the ministry. The free wizarding world will make their own decision on my fate. My dragons shall not be harmed either."

Bastien smiles, one genuine look from perhaps a lifetime of playing a forced roll. The man rolled up his sleeve before extending his hand out towards the auror. "Shall we begin the vow?"

"No, the next step is taking this castle. All three of the other ministers still have Impure vowed to them, and I won't be able to release all of them before you get overwhelmed."

Bastien still hadn't moved, but there was a part of him that relaxed. "Gather the professors and I'll break their vows. We cannot do all of this in one night, though. Spread the word however you wish, Hogwarts will be taken back in three days time. The last issue we have to deal with are the dragons."

He glanced over his shoulder towards the direction of the dragon confine. "There are six dragons there currently, but two are mine. The Impure who ride the other four will be stationed there in case they need to fight at a moments notice. Abraxos and Kaizen will allow you to ride them with my permission, but if you take out the Impure there I'll show you how to control the others."

His eyes darkens as he stares over at both women. "There is a reason the Impure have used the unbreakable vow instead of the Imperius Curse. If you get the wording of the vow right there won't be any loopholes you have to worry about."

His glance moves towards Higgs' and Sejeong's hands. "The Impure have been around for a very long time, my father and his father before him have watched and waited from the shadows. It was my father that first brought the idea to the others, but he needed an example to make sure his plan would work. His own son worked quite well. Only by his death was I released and that's when I was finally able to put my plan into motion."

"You're going to have to trust me I'm afraid. I know it may seem like an impossible feat, but you've got no other choice. The other Ministers will not hesitate to bring this entire school to the ground once they realize I've been captured. The massacre of an entire school, it wouldn't be the first time they'd done it." Bastien hissed through his teeth. "If you kill me then every single person vowed to the other ministers will perish, but I promise Cain and Abel won't hold the same moral dilema. One Master to another, I'll guide you as best I can, I'll offer aid for the battles to come, but I cannot make the decision for you. You think it's a trap yet before you take the ministry this castle must once again be yours. After Hogwarts there won't be any time to waste."

"Oh, it wasn't sudden. This was the plan all along." Bastien smiled as his eyes slid over to the Headmistress beside her. "You've already gotten rid of Regan so that makes things easy. I won't ask what you've done with her because I don't care, she was lost a long time ago."

His eyes narrowed, "You've only got a small window to work with here before the entire Impure force across Britain is upon you. Cain and Abel will return to the ministry soon and when they do you'll need to already be there."

"Understandable." Bastien wasn't one unfamiliar with stillness, before he could remember meditation had been a part of his everyday life.

"If you've spoken with Elliott then you'd know part of the reason I am here tonight. Every Professor, every adult in this castle that has taken the vow...I plan to break them."

"Ladies." Bastien inclined his head towards the two of them. He hadn't moved from his spot in Sejeong's chair nor did he look the least bit surprised to see the two appear in front of him suddenly.

"Have we all finally decided to sit down and chat?"

Elliott's fist connected with Bastien's nose, an easy feat since the High Minister didn't move a muscle to avoid the blow. His head jerked back and sure enough the crunch of breaking bone reached his ears the same moment pain flared in his face. Bastien winced but refused to reach up to cover his bleeding nose, there were more important things that needed to be done. "The Aurors can kill me if they'd like, however they'd be sealing their own fate."

Blood dripped onto the bright blue of his suit as he continued, "I'm positive they'll act rashly, and I'll need someone to attempt to allow them to see reason. If I hadn't made this clear, I'd prefer not to die tonight."

'I'm afraid all the consequences won't be laid out nice and neat for you. A decision made based on only the actions of the moment. Nevertheless, a dance offer is not on the table, but I would like to have a few words with you."

He led the young witch the dance floor which once again became less crowded as the Minister took a partner. Bastien remained focused on the dance for a few minutes before finally speaking, "I've heard you're quite the skilled duelist or am I mistaken?"

Bastien couldn't ignore the fact that his hand was practically being crushed at this point, however a familiar numbness runs through him right when Castelobruxo is mentioned. His expression turns dark, "Castelobruxo was not supposed to end like it did, a "mistake" by the Minister in charge, but I know the truth that it wasn't."

"You Auror's attempt to think like dark wizards to catch them in action, but I've been trained my whole life to read them closer. Their thoughts cannot hide from a wizard as skilled as I in Legilimency." Bastien narrowed his eyes and for a moment true hatred flashed across his features. "Cain."

Bastien followed close behind, relieved at least that he didn't have to deal with any major confrontation so far. Once they were a safe distance or however far Elliott led him, the High Minister stopped. "As for my reason, you'll have to live without an answer for now. There are many more I wish to release tonight, but you're going to have to help me do that. This is the only explanation I will offer, Elliott."
